Today we are going to do a whole class Zoom! Zoom works best when you download the app.

Learning from home is a whole new world! Show us your new “classroom” by clicking on the link, logging in, and going to your activities page.

 

Respond to the activity titled Show Us Your New Classroom.

Add pictures to the bingo board, bonus if you can get a blackout!

Go to the link below and login using your typing.com information.

 

Do the “Internet Safety” Assignment. When finished you can practice the “beginner typing lessons”

Watch the video in the link to learn a new math game. Practice the game with a family member suing the deck of card you picked up from school. You can choose to play multiplication or addition when you play! 

Read for at least 20 minutes throughout the day! Take a selfie with your book, or show me your favourite page and post it to seesaw!

Today we are going to learn to use this grade 4 website, the school website, and the Galbraith YouTube channel.

 

Click on the link and try to find everything on the scavenger hunt. Don’t forget to fill in your answers on seesaw!

 

Read for at least 20 minutes using your own books, or by going to one of the reading pages on the enrichment page

Make an array using manipulatives at home.

 

Post a photo on the “Arrays” assignment.

Make sure to tell me the multiplication equation your array represents

Not all of us have a big home library and so we thought we would find a way to bring the books to you!

Then click the second link and try to find all of the items on your Epic Scavenger Hunt. Make sure to fill in your answers! 

 

Play a math game with cards or dice. Do one you know, or invent something new to practice your skills!

Tomorrow is bring your pet to school day. We are going to have a zoom conference where you can bring your pet, or favourite stuffy/toy to show and share with the class.

To prepare click on the link below and write a paragraph preparing what you want to share about your pet/stuffy.

Remember to use full sentences with proper punctuation and grammar. Emojis are not a part of school language.

Click the link and write me an email telling me all about how your week was. In the subject line please write: My First Week

Write in full sentences and tell me everything you want me to know! 

Math tutorial time! 

I want you to pretend for a minute that you're a teacher. Your job is to teach someone how YOU would solve one of the equations below. 

Make a video on seesaw, or draw it out and do a voice over explaining how to solve. Remember to SHOW and TELL so that others can understand what you mean.
