Zoom Conferences Schedule

Monday

  • Whole class (with parents if available) at 10 am​​​​

Tuesday

  • Check in Time: optional time for pop ins, extra help, and updates at 230-3 pm

Wednesday

  • Check in Time: optional time for pop ins, extra help, and updates at 230-3 pm

 

 

Thursday

  • Whole class: Bring your pet to school day at 930

Week One Schedule

MONDAY​

  • Zoom Meeting with the whole class and parents.  10 a.m.​​

  • Complete the BINGO!  “Show me your new classroom”  This can be found in your class notebook.​​

  • Journal entry: Describe your last couple of weeks at home.  How have you been feeling?  Who have you been at home with?  What have you been doing?  Write with lots of details. You can write in your journal and take a picture and upload it in Class Notebook, or you can write it directly in your Class Notebook.  Use the Journal Entries tab.​

  • Listen to the first instalment of Flora and Ulysses on YouTube (follow the link at the top: F & U 1).

 

TUESDAY​

  • Complete the Webpage Scavenger Hunt.  This can be found in your class notebook.​​

  • Watch video on YouTube of Mrs. Nelson and Mrs. Samayoa playing a new game.  ​​

  • Play the new game with a sibling or parent.

  • Listen to the second instalment of Flora and Ulysses.

 

WEDNESDAY​

​APRIL FOOL’S DAY!​

  • Do the Epic! Scavenger Hunt.  This can be found in your Class Notebook.  Enjoy the reading adventure!​​

  • Write out a paragraph that describes your pet or favorite stuffed animal to share tomorrow on our Zoom.  This can be handwritten or typed into your class notebook.  Make sure you have an introduction sentence, detail sentences and a closing sentence (remember the hamburger idea!)​.

  • In the collaborative space in Class Notebook, describe (with lots of details!) a prank you have played.  It could be one from April Fool's Day today or it could be one in the past.

  • Listen to the third instalment of Flora and Ulysses.

 

THURSDAY​

  • Zoom Meeting with the whole class:  the topic is “BRING YOUR ‘PET’ TO SCHOOL DAY”  I am so excited about this!  Make sure you have your paragraph from yesterday and show us your pet or stuffed animal!​

  • Listen to the fourth instalment of Flora and Ulysses.

 

FRIDAY​

  • Write a Friday Letter.  Remember two solid paragraphs with the first one being about your new learning at home and the second one about what you enjoyed about online learning.​​

  • Play the math game from the video that Mrs. Nelson & Mrs. Samayoa shared with you ​.

  • Listen to the fifth instalment of Flora and Ulysses.

  • Get physical and enjoy your weekend!​
