Monday
This week we are going to answer the questions "What is poetry?"

Start by watching the video "What is Poetry" on YouTube

Then go to Seesaw and choose one of the three poems posted on your Monday assignment and answer the questions about the poem.
This week in math we are going to begin to learn about division.

Go to Seesaw and choose a set of questions to practice with. Post a video of you using manipulatives to practice division
Read for at least 20 minutes today
Go outside and enjoy the sunshine and some physical activity. Post a photo of your exercise to Seesaw!
Tuesday
Watch the video on sensory imagery
Go to Seesaw and read one of the Tuesday poems out loud. Highlight or underline words in the poem tat create strong sense of imagery
Turn the poem you chose into a six panel comic, be sure to have the same strong imagery the poem had
Watch the video on Division using Visual Models
Go to Seesaw and choose a set of questions to practice with. Post a picture of one of your equations and the drawing you created to match it.

Watch Ms. Fischer explain how similies and metaphors are used in poetry
Watch the video on similies in pop culture
Read the poem on Seesaw and write 3-5 other similies that describe a book
Watch the video on multiplication and division fact families. The second video is there if you need extra explanation.
Go to Seesaw and complete as many fact family equations as you can in 15-20 minutes on your assignement. You DO NOT have to complete them all

Watch the music video on similies and metaphors
If you didn't watch it yesterday watch Ms. F talk about similies and metaphors in poetry
Read the poem on Seesaw that uses metaphors. Create your own poem that uses metaphors to describe your family. Ms. Fischer has created an example that describes her family.
